This site was started in late April 2008 and is still under construction but we hope that you like what you see here so far nonetheless. We have created the site to provide information for our parishioners, visitors to the area and any other interested parties.

We are soon to get our own full time resident parish priest!
We rejoice that Bishop Christopher has arranged that Blandford should have its own priest again.
FR CHACKO PANATHARA C.M. is coming to start his ministry here on the 1st Sunday of Advent. His first mass will be the 5.30pm Mass on Saturday November 26th.
Fr Chacko is a Vincentian priest of the Irish province. He has been serving in Dunstable in a large group with an Sunday attendance of 1,000. He was born in Kerala, and was ordained a priest in 1975.
For 21 years he worked as a frontier missionary in Northern India before moving to set up a Vincentian congregation in Tanzania. He was there for 13 years and then in the Solomon Islands for a short time. He has been in England for 5 years.
He has written to us “May the good Lord make me a worthy instrument in His hands to serve His people in Blandford Forum, that’s my prayer”.
May we all echo that prayer and work to be worthy instruments in God’s hands, alongside Fr Chacko, so that the work of helping others deeper into the Love of God and His Holy Church, may go on well here.
