Father Brian moves on - August 2008

A big thank you to Father Brian Reeves who retired to Blandford from Shaftesbury but who found himself working far harder for us while he was here than he, or we, had ever intended. Father Brian is still pursuing his interests in Goa and aims to return to India as often as funds and his energy permit. Thank you Father for all your hard work while you were with us.

Father Brian has now moved to Poole where he is looking forward to a more relaxing retirement than he enjoyed here in Blandford! Thank you again Father and we hope that we shall continue to see you from time-to-time.

Father Richard moves on too - August 2008

A big thank you to Father Richard Veal who has been acting as a locum for us together with Father Brian. Father Richard's last Mass with us will be on 31st August when he will concelebrate the Mass with Fathers Brian and Ciarán (see below). There will be coffee afterwards and a small presentation to both leavers. We are looking forward to seeing you again when Fr Ciarán is on holiday.

Father Ciarán arrives - August 2008

Wow! It is all happening here just at the moment! Father Ciarán McGuinness who was our parish priest for about a year (we shared him with Shaftesbury) is returning to us from Ilfracombe which is where he went immediately after leaving us. Father Ciarán arrives at the Presbytery on 25th August. Welcome Father!
